There are 4 scenarios after the tutorials butEconomic empire sim based in the Carribean. There is a lot to learn and the UI takes some getting used to but there are plenty of tooltips and long tutorials (3-4 hours). or just trade all day and count your money. You can control fleets, build production facilities, improve towns, collect bounties on pirates, conquer ports for your nation. After a couple days all I could think was 'boooooring!'Economic empire sim based in the Carribean. gameplay is great and the music is relaxing!Sort of fun for a few hours, but then the tedium sets in. It has a learning curve but once you are familiar with it, especially setting trade routes the game gets a whole lot better. You have to love detail management and to see your business growth and maybe youAbove all, Port Royale 2 is a remarkable accomplishment, largely because it can make economic simulations captivating even to those who may typically dislike the idea of this game genre.This game is a must have for all lovers of economic and strategy sims. Easy to control ground battles and one to one duels with swords against captains and pirates. Good strategy game with challenging ships battles, nice trading and interesting development.
